M.M. Busby

M.M. Busby ~ M.M. BUSBY is a retired educator who won the Florida Center for Teachers Award given by the Florida Humanities Council for her original essay about the Apostle John working as a public-school teacher after living 2000 years on earth. She is certified by the prestigious Renaissance Learning Systems, Inc. as an Accelerated Reader Model and Master Class instructor. As a teacher, M.M. Busby contributed to the creation of computerized reading comprehension and literacy programs and developed a highly acclaimed interactive sing-along system to promote reading fluency. She writes plays, musicals, and novels for all ages under the pen names of Mickey MorningGlory, Mickey Middleton, and Michelle Busby. She is a member of Sisters in Crime (SinC), Women's Fiction Writers Association (WFWA), National Association of Independent Writers and Editors (NAIWE), American Copy Editors Society (ACES), and Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). M.M. Busby lives in North Florida with her family. Her thrillers are rated R>17 and AR.
